What is Life

I would like to give a proper introduction of my life here. I am Ardel, born on 18th December 1996 in Jakarta. I went to private local school close to my home. Then in 2014 I studied Computer Science and Statistics at BINUS University. I did pretty well at school. I got the best graduate award in 2019. I am lucky I am good with numbers and logic. I am above average is what I could say.  I currently work for the best IT Consulting in the world. I have a decent paying job. I do what I can do, for people who needs my capabilities, and earn a good sum of money. Everything seems so perfect even my team lead said I did a great job and it was above his expectation. The reality kicks me hard, I don't enjoy the process. I find myself not happy. I start my day with a zombie face, just like people I saw in the bus I shared  here . I joined Accenture on 16 October 2019. Even though I posted this in July 2020, I am writing this on 18 March 2020, thus it has been a rough 5 months for me. On the first day, I went to Accenture Jakarta Office at Wisma BNI 46. We (new joiners) had our administration done and was left waiting for the laptop until 3pm or so. There was 6 of us. We had our project placement, Nikita is the only one who was placed in ERP, the rest were placed in Digital Core. After we set up the laptop, we had what so called mini NJO (new joiner orientation) about security, confidentiality, DTE, and many other I might not have concern on. We were asked to contact our PMO for further information on the project. We were instructed to come to the client project site. I went there by bike, the rest ordered Grab car. Arrived at around 5 pm. Interesting. 5 pm and there is no sign of going home. I was introduced to the team mates. My supervisor showed me the deck about Service Bus, I had not heard the terms before....

I have finished my thesis and have been looking for a job. I applied to BCA, Accenture, and PwC. I have been called for an interview by Accenture and BCA recently. I went back home from PwC and BCA by TransJakarta. I realise that everyone in TransJakarta doesn't smile. They looked like zombies, waiting for their stops, daily, I assume. I began thinking, why is everyone alive on the outside and dead inside. I believe there is something more to life rather than just doing the same thing over and over again. Thus, I created this new blog to share my journey of life, might be a lot of work-related life.
